GameCraft is a competition coordinated by EGaDS!, the Electronic Game Developer's Society, at UT. In the competition, teams develop an idea for a video game and then create a pitch as if they wanted to sell their game idea to a company. The teams present their pitches to a panel of judges from the video game industry and those judges decide on a winner.
I participated in the competition twice, once in the Fall of 2008 and again in the Spring of 2009, and both times, I won first place. This contest taught me a great deal about the design and function of a good game that not only embodies a great idea but that can also be marketable to a wide audience. In my presentations, I included mock-up menu screens, concept art, and in-depth market analysis.
Some basic information about my games can be found below.

You begin as Peter Thunderow, a pawn in Titan's terrorist religious revolution. He sends you on a suicidal mission without telling you the key piece of information that it is a suicide mission. You survive a horrific explosion through divine intervention and Michael the archangel comes and recruits you to fight the war against Titan and to restore the world's lost order.

REMNANTS
Call of Duty 4 meets World of Warcraft.
2054
A pall falls on the light of humanity.
In a tempest of chaos, night crashes upon the Earth
For the few that remember, it is known as the "Darkness."
Hundreds of years after a disaster that destroyed most of humanity, a war breaks out amongst the last remnants of society. The Advent believe that creating a central government is the only way to organize humanity and regain their lost glory, while the Tide fight for the ideal of autonomous rule, believing that central governments brought the past apocalypse.
